The University of California Women in Technology Committee (UC WIT) is a self-chartered, independent organization that promotes a supportive, inclusive environment to advance the professional goals of women in technology. UC WIT’s annual “UC Women Rock IT” article highlights the contributions of women in tech across the UC system in celebration of Women’s History Month in March.
Fill out the nomination form at go.lbl.gov/ucwomenrockit to submit yourself, a colleague, or a team to be included in the 2026 article. The local committee at Berkeley Lab will select and submit a single entry, given permission from the honoree to be included.
2026 Nomination Criteria
- Spotlight the accomplishments of one woman or one team of women from each location.
- Describe their significant contributions any time from April 2025 through February 2026.
- The contributions must highlight work in Information Technology (in any field, from ed tech to software development to security) or work that reflects the mission of UC WIT.
- The nomination form will close on February 20, 2026.
🏆 Previous Lab honorees include Wei Feinstein, ScienceIT (2025) and Melissa Romanus, NERSC (2024).
