The IT Division Scientific Computing Group (ScienceIT) and Career Pathways Office (CPO) will host a virtual data science workshop for Berkeley Lab Postdocs on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Registration is required.
Join Tim Fong, ScienceIT consultant, for a chat about data science services, the current problems faced by researchers today, and a demonstration of solutions using Python and Jupyter Notebook. The class is aimed toward teaching scientists with no prior coding experience. All Berkeley Lab staff are welcome to register.
The workshop, Exploratory Data Analysis for Timeseries Data, will cover the following topics:
