To request an earpiece, send email to tsc@lbl.gov with your cellular phone number, vendor name (AT&T or Verizon), phone model and project ID.
If you require a Bluetooth headset, Telephone Services can order one for you. Email your request to tsc@lbl.gov and include the Bluetooth model, your cellular phone number, vendor name (AT&T or Verizon), phone model and project ID. Approval from your supervisor or division management is required to purchase a Bluetooth headset.

Note: On July 1, 2008, California state law SB1613, which bans motorists from talking on a cell phone while driving without a hands-free device, went into effect. SB1613 imposes fines unless the driver uses a headset, earpiece or other technology (i.e. Bluetooth) that frees both hands.
