Google Calendar

New improvements have been added to the Google Calendar appointment scheduling feature. Appointment scheduling allows colleagues to schedule time with you via a personal booking page. To improve the experience, Google Calendar has added more customizable meeting times, ranging from five to fourteen minute appointment slots. Previously, the minimum duration was fifteen minutes. When viewing your Calendar on the web, you also now have the option to hide or show Appointment schedules.

Google Drive

A new Activity view in Google Drive now shows all pending access requests, recent comments, and approvals for files. This summary page helps users quickly take action on activity for multiple files from one location. The new view is accessible from the left hand navigation panel within Drive under Activity.

Google Sheets

Collaborative enhancements continue across Google Workspace. You can now add emoji reactions to comments in Google Sheets. This allows users to quickly express opinions about spreadsheet content and respond to comments.

Additionally, a new Ratings smart chip is available for Sheets. Type “@” then “ratings” to add the smart chip or from the file menu, select Insert > Smart chips > Rating. Select the number of stars from 0 to 5 to indicate a preference or ranking of an option.
