Dear Savio users,
There will be a scheduled shutdown of the data center starting at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 2 with completion planned by 5:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
This work is required to support the campus research mission by enabling new research systems and to provide improved resilience for these systems when running on generator power during campus power outages. The savio system administrators will take advantage of this downtime to get some maintenance work done as we. We understand this may disrupt your ability to work but have purposely scheduled the outage during a time period when the use of systems is reduced in an attempt to minimize the overall impact to campus.
We also have an XSEDE-themed Cloud Meetup next week on Wednesday 12/9 at 4pm and are always available to help via e-mail or at our drop in office hours.
