The assignment and payment of all fines, replacement fees, and account blocks are handled through the University of California – Berkeley Libraries. To manage outstanding fines, fees, or to remove blocks:
- Go to the UC Berkeley Libraries Borrow + Renew page.
- Scroll down to the heading What you need to know, towards the left hand side of the page.
- Select Pay fines and scroll down to find the section that applies to your situation. You will be presented with a list of various library account activities such as Paying fines, Clearing library account blocks, Billed items, Damaged or lost items, and Replacing damaged or lost items.
