MyLRC is the self-service web portal for managing access to the Lawrencium cluster. It handles user accounts, PI Computing Allowance (PCA), Condo and Recharge projects, billing reports and project ID validation. The portal connects to the Slurm scheduler and the cluster account databases, so approved requests are applied automatically. You sign in through CILogon with your institutional identity.
With MyLRC, PIs and researchers can:
• request a Lawrencium user account and sign the cluster User Access Agreement
• request a new project or ask to join an existing one
• approve join requests and add or remove project members
• check a project’s SU balance and usage by each member
• view job status and track the status of requests
Every Lawrencium user needs a MyLRC account and must belong to at least one project.
Project types
A PI can set up one of three kinds of Lawrencium project in MyLRC:
• PI Computing Allowance (PCA): no-cost compute time for eligible Berkeley Lab PIs
• Condo Cluster Service: purchase nodes for ongoing priority access
• Recharge Allocation: pay-as-you-go compute
