The Berkeley Lab Library is excited to offer staff access to demos for two cutting-edge AI tools designed to enhance your research capabilities. Scopus AI is a generative AI tool for summaries, foundational papers, and insights, available through May 27. Also check out Scite, a deep learning platform for literature reviews and citation analysis, available for demo through June 13.
Scopus AI is Elsevier’s intuitive AI search tool that leverages curated content and natural language queries to provide accurate summaries, identify foundational papers, and highlight leading experts. Insights are surfaced from the metadata and abstracts in Scopus, Elsevier’s source-neutral and curated database which includes over 1.8 billion citations across 27,000 journals.
Scite is an AI-powered platform to conduct literature reviews and cite sources. Natural language processing and machine learning are utilized to analyze context and intent behind citations, classifying them as supporting, contrasting, or mentioning the cited work. Sources include over 187 million articles, book chapters, preprints, and datasets.
