The Building 54 cafeteria and Pers Hall at Berkeley Lab permanently closed on November 11, 2022 in order to start work on the Seismic Safety and Modernization (SSM) project. Part of the Lab’s long-planned modernization effort, the SSM project will create a modern, flexible space to meet Berkeley Lab’s dining, health services, and conference space needs. The Berkeley Lab (LBNL) Research Library and Reading Lounge, formerly housed in a room located underneath the cafeteria, will be closed until the new building is completed.

Access the LBNL Salary Book
There is currently one copy of the LBNL Salary Book available through the Library. Employees can email compensation@lbl.gov to request a physical copy of the book to be mailed to their mailstop or address. Visit the Berkeley Lab Compensation site for more information.

- Via the drop box located just outside 50B-2231. (Turn left as you exit the elevator on the second floor.)
- Via mail: Library, One Cyclotron Road, 50-4032.
- Any UCB Library book return.
