One of the main components of the ScienceIT program is to provide research consulting support to facilitate the use of computation and data. Staffed with three full-time consultants with science domain backgrounds, they can provide in-depth consulting support to researchers on cloud computing, data movement and storage, and scientific workflows.
Interested in using cloud computing for your research? In addition to providing you with a cloud account, we can provide consulting support on the use of Amazon AWS or Google GCP. Or we can advise researchers on the use of tools such as AWS Sagemaker or Google AutoML. Need a cluster built in the cloud to handle a specific workload? We can do that too.
Does your research generate or use a lot of data and does it need to be moved elsewhere for the computing and analysis? We can also help architect solutions to handle your data workflows.
