Not only can you send and receive messages through your voicemail box, but you can also receive an audio copy of your voicemail messages in your email using the Vmail feature. Enjoy the flexibility of routing your calls to reach you at alternate locations and receiving notification on your cell phone of any new messages.

Getting Started
When accessing your voicemail box for the first time, you will be prompted to complete a quick set up tutorial. This tutorial must be completed before you can begin listening to any new messages callers may have left you. To set up your voicemail remotely, please email TSC@lbl.gov for a temporary passcode and instructions.
Quick Set Up Tutorial:
- Access your voicemail box by pressing the VMBX button (or enter *5) on your telephone set. NOTE: Avaya phone users should press the “Message” button.
- Enter a New security code†
- Enter the new security code again to confirm
- Record your Name
- Record your Personal Greeting
Once you have successfully completed the tutorial, you can begin to fully use your voicemail box.
†NOTE: You will only need to enter your security code to access your voicemail box remotely. You may specifically request that the security code be required upon every log on. Contact TSC@lbl.gov or call x7997 to have this set up for you.
