Releasing Big Sur Upgrade
Berkeley Lab IT will be releasing the block on Big Sur for macOS. IT initiated the block to address software incompatibilities, more specifically with the Lab’s anti-virus software Sophos. Given COVID IT Can Help You With Your Asset Inventory
During the 2019 Wall-to-Wall inventory campaign, a collaboration pilot program between IT and Berkeley Lab Property Management used and implemented BigFix to certify the existence of DOE tagged assets. Any DOE-barcoded system running BigFix on LBL’s network was automatically verified for inventory purposes, without the barcode being scanned.
